Today at plan-do-share time, Ella-Mae was writing on the whiteboard. She showed how she could write words using her knowledge of letter sounds.

This week we have been using cotton buds for painting. This help us to strengthen our finger muscles. Deon is painting a nature scene.

Playhouse presents "Rap-unzel"

Today room 1 went to see a show called "Rap-unzel". 

"Pinocchio was doing a funny dance," says Holly. 

Ella-Mae and Caitlin say the show was about Simon Cow who takes Rapunzel's voice away. 

Simon Cow locked Rapunzel in the castle, says Rosalie. 

Simon Cow cut Rapunzel's hair, said Deon. 

"My favourite part was when the man pulled Rapunzel's hair," said Zoe

Paige liked it when Rapunzel escaped from the tower. Ella- Mae liked it when the beanstalk came out. Rapunzel climbed out of the tower and down the beanstalk. 

Owen and Kimiora-Dior like it went the rapping Prince Rupert had his underwear hanging out.

We all liked the dancing at the end!

Computers in Room 1: Starfall

In room 1, we have been learning how to use literacy games on Starfall. Our room 3 buddies have been helping us to use a cursor and navigate the site.
